Jesse Coffman has nearly 20 years of experience in golf course management. After pursuing a professional playing career, he switched his focus to the business of golf. He has been a Director of Golf at private, public, and resort golf clubs. The past few years, he has been the Director of Golf for multi-course operations; managing as many as eight courses. Jesse has an extreme passion for the game of golf as well as providing the very best experience possible for every guest.

Steve has been a PGA Head Golf Professional since 2001. Steve majored in Business Administration at Wichita State University before becoming a Golf Professional in 1997. He has managed Braeburn and MacDonald Golf Courses before taking over at Tex Consolver in 2012.  Steve has numerous PGA awards for merchandising and growth of the game initiatives. He was also a past president of the Kansas Chapter PGA and has served on several different committees for South Central Section PGA.

Greg is an Assistant Golf Professional with the City of Wichita. He travels between Tex Consolver and Auburn Hills Golf Courses. He has a teaching and playing background consisting of almost 40 years of golf business experience.

Tim Crockett, Auburn Hills Golf Course

Tim Crockett has benn named the Assistant Golf Professional of Auburn Hills Golf Course. He is a former collegiate golfer at the University of Arkansas, a professional golfer competing in various tours, and has worked in Golf Wichita for multiple years. Teaching all skill levels and assisting in clinics to help others improve their golf game, Tim is now scheduling private lessons. 

Colin O'Bryan, MacDonald Golf Course

Colin graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was a member of the Kapaun Mt. Carmel golf team in high school that won multiple state championships. After high school Colin played golf for Grier Jones at Wichita State University. Colin has qualified for and played on 6 Jordan Cup and Philbrick Cup teams for the South Central PGA. In 2016 Colin became the Vice President of the Kansas Chapter PGA. In 2018 Colin was recognized as Kansas PGA Teacher of the Year, won the Kansas PGA Championship, and received the PGA Kansas Chapter award for Junior Player Development. In 2019 Colin received the Kansas PGA Player Development award. In 2020 Colin became the President of the Kansas PGA, and received the Kansas PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award. Colin enjoys teaching golfers of all skill levels and loves to see them improve their game!!

Kent Purvis, Arthur B. Sim Golf Course

Kent Purvis has been with the City of Wichita over a decade and has worked in at all four golf courses in the City of Wichita’s golf division. Prior to his employment with COW, Kent worked for both American Golf Corporation and Eagleton Corporation, respectively. Away from the course Kent enjoys spending time with his family and dogs.

Scot Weller, Auburn Hills Golf Course

In November of 2016, Scot accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at Auburn Hills Golf Course. Scot has strong passion for teaching and particularly the junior golf programs, developing the young golfers for the future. In addition to teaching, Scot has been recognized for his accomplishments by the South Central Section PGA in 2018, 2019 and 2021 for his excellence and skills as a merchandiser in the promotion of the game of golf.

Seth Davis, Tex Consolver Golf Course

Seth Davis has been in the golf business for the last twenty years. A graduate of Kansas State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Seth worked as a Superintendent at Augusta Country Club and Clapp Golf Course, before becoming the Superintendent at Tex Consolver Golf Course. Seth has also worked at multiple golf courses in Kansas including Prairie Dunes Country Club, Wichita Country Club, and Manhattan Country Club.​

Darrin Dohrman, Arthur B. Sim Golf Course

Darrin has been in the golf industry for over 20 years. Before coming to Wichita his most recent golf course position was at Stagg Hill Golf Course in Manhattan, KS. He was a Parks Supervisor for the City of Junction City for three years and Director of Grounds at Kansas State University for two years.

Ron Mosher, Auburn Hills Golf Course

Ron Mosher is a GCSAA certified Superintendent at Auburn Hills Golf Course. He started with the City of Wichita in 1994 at Arthur B. Sim. Ron has over 40 years' experience in maintaining golf courses and has worked at multiple area courses including: Rolling Hills, Hidden Lakes, Echo Hills, Reflection Ridge, and Fox Ridge.

Ron Reese, MacDonald Golf Course

Ron began working at the Wamego Country Club in 1984 advancing to Superintendent in 1986. His career path took him several places including Marysville Country Club, Hidden Lakes Golf Course, Willowbend Golf Club, and Southwind Country Club. He was the Construction and Grow-In Superintendent for the El Dorado Country Club and Sierra Hills Golf Course before joining the City of Wichita’s golf division in 2003. Ron is a 30+ year Class A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, as well as a member and past president of Kansas Golf Course Superintendents Association and Kansas Turfgrass Foundation.​

Kevin Bishop

Kevin was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where he attended Cal State University at Northridge. He has over 30 years of experience in restaurant management and training, restaurant ownership and menu research and development. Kevin and family moved from South Texas to Derby in 2007.

Darius Terrell
